1D slept rough during the filming of their 'This Is Us' movie

It has been revealed that the One Direction boys have featured a scene in their upcoming movie, of them roughing it in the wild.

Specifically, it has been said that they spent a night foraging for food and lighting their own fires.

In fact, it has been described as an “extreme” wild feature – TOO KEEN DIRECTIONERS.

A source told the Daily Mirror:

“This was one of the last scenes left to be filmed for the boys’ movie so they really gave it their all. It’s a back-to-basics, extreme survival-type feature and the lads were all up for roughing it overnight.”

The source added:

“They were foraging for things to eat and even had to scrounge some bedding and sleep on the ground. It was a world away from the plush hotels they’ve become accustomed to.”

We already know the boys are fans of superheroes and the like, but it has also been revealed they are quite keen on wildlife adventurers too:

The source continued:

“They grew up watching shows like Bear’s ‘Born Survivor’ and they all really wanted to try their hand at playing adventurer. Obviously, they weren’t entirely alone – there were a fair few crew members about.”

Liam out of all the 1D boys was the most excited, seeing as he used to be in the scouts when he was younger.

“But it was a great chance for Liam, in particular, to dust off his old boy scout skills. He can make a fire with some twigs, no sweat.”

Harry Styles recently announced that the film was nearly finished, and with it being released on August 30th that means there’s now just 100 days left to wait.
